Savage Associates Engineering (SAE) has helped rural communities in Utah secure funding, prepare design documents and plans, and provide construction management for numerous road projects. SAE can provide road assessments for your projects to provide a specific design for your needs.

Road Projects

  • Sigurd Town Road and Drainage Project.

    • Project Details – SAE completed a road assessment for Sigurd Town which yielded a project comprised of rotomilling, resurfacing, lane leveling, and ½” HMA overlay through a large portion of the community.

  • Marysvale Town Road Rehabilitation Project

    • Project Details -After conducting a road assessment and securing funds for Marysvale, the Town conducted a rehabilitation project including widening, resurfacing, placing culverts, and overlay of ½” HMA material.

  • Kingston Town Road Rehabilitation Project

    • Project Details – SAE helped Kingston Town secure funds for a chip seal project and road widening for a section of roadway. Utilities and drainage features were moved in order to facilitate the lane widening.

  • Circleville Town Road and Drainage Project

    • Circleville Town Road and Drainage Project – SAE worked with Circleville Town to direct drainage from the Town’s Main Street and provide flows from road rights of way. The Towns flat grades constrained designs to flat surfaces to allow water to flow. Concrete water ways were placed throughout town and the majority of the Streets resurfaced with Chip Seal.

  • Junction Town Road Rehabilitation Project

    • SAE works with Junction Town on their road maintenance program and has conducted various chip sealing and drainage projects throughout Town.

Airport Projects

  • Salina-Gunnison Airport

    • Project Details – SAE has helped these Cities with their runway rehabilitation projects in 2008 and again in 2017. The project included crack sealing prior to placing slurry seal and restriping the runway’s paint configuration.

  • Piute – Junction Airport

    • Project Details – SAE has helped these Cities with their runway rehabilitation projects in 2008 and again in 2017. The project included crack sealing prior to placing slurry seal and restriping the runway’s paint configuration.

  • Richfield City Airport Project

    • Project Details – SAE was hired by Staker Parsons Company to set grades and verify elevations for the Richfield City airport extension project in 2012. SAE also provided the Asphalt QC throughout construction.
